I waited 2 hours outside Target in the cold for this. Well worth it.
Also, Shelby CSX on Chasing Classic Cars.

Meh it wasnt all that bad and once they opened the doors we were in and out in less than 5 mins. Now I'm in my comfy bed watching it.

Hehe, I knew it... I still need to find one, though I'm not sure the batch it was in is even coming down here.

If I ever find another I'll grab it for you.

It's ok man, don't worry about it, that one's not that high on my list right now. I still have to finish tooling and casting the custom Nova chassis I made before I get anymore of them, or I'll never be able to replace all of the plastic bases on my Novas, haha.

That's the good thing about the Retro Entertainment cars, metal chassis. Good eye to even spot that on my wall.

Exactly, I'm not a big fan of their rubber tires, but metal bases are definitely infinitely superior to chrome plastic. My custom Nova base also has a few modifications to make the car sit a little lowee and look a little sleeker, which is why I'm wanting to cast multiples of it. After that one's done I also have one for the 70 Chevelle and one for the 64 Thunderbolt in the works

I'm glad you say that because everyone on Instagram seems to be obsessed with Real Riders. I grew up with plastic wheels and I've always preferred them. I like that they use classic wheels on the Hot Ones and Flying Customs.

Same here, I grew up with what always seemed like the perfect compromise between toy cars and model cars:
And Real Rider wheels just seem too much model car and too little Toy Car for my tastes. I mean, I appreciate high precision diecast models as much as the next collector, but it's the Toy Car that gets kids hooked on cars, amirite?

Exactly, and that's why I left the standard 5 spokes on my Bullitt Mustang when I made it. RRs always seemed too Johnny Lightning for my tastes. Certain cars wear them well though, like the Retro Entertainment cars. The Bandit Trans Am ans Delorean are particularly nice on them.
